The husband and wife team of Harry and Esther began in a southern California with a stand not much bigger than that of a lemonade stand. Harry was an innovator though and brought to us the first speaker system to be used by a restaurant in California.

In Summary
If you’re a fan and let me tell you they have them, you can even download wallpaper for your computer as well as ringtones for your phone here. They also have a foundation where they support abused and neglected children. Lastly, they are a great company to work for. They are one of the very few fast food companies that are committed to paying their employees greater than state and federal minimum wage.
I can’t imagine there being many restaurants on this list that don’t do anything specific for children and yet might be one of the best restaurant experiences for kids. Very few restaurants have the buzz like In-N-Out does. What’s not to like about the place? It would be great if they reached out more to children (there is really nothing on their website related to children), had a kids menu or if kids ate free at In-N-Out Burger, yet their foundation focuses on abused and neglected children. Even though there are no child perks here, this is one place you don’t really need them that much because their prices have stayed so affordable, especially in southern California. It’s just hard to not like this company and the atmosphere they have created. No child benefits but a place my kids have always loved visiting.
