Italian and Pizza

Restaurants can be broken down into not only different restaurant types but also food types as well. Some examples of these may be – Asian, bakeries, barbecue, coffeehouses, desserts, family style, Italian and pizza, Mexican, sandwiches or seafood.

This page deals specifically with Italian and pizza restaurants. Pizza is one of my favorite categories of restaurant food options because there are so many local pizza places in tows across America. Our country has adopted this food type as much as anything else and it’s hard to imagine not having this Italian dish in our culture. You could also say this about the Italian ethnic cuisine in general in our country as well. There is no doubt that the Italian foods have played a major role in what we eat at home and at our favorite restaurants.
