Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen (pc- Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen.com)
There isn’t a story here to be found, not at least in my research. The founder, Michele “Michael” Scotto came from Italy with some Italian pizza recipes and opened a store in New York City (next to the Ed Sullivan Theater). I’m sure there is a story in there somewhere with Villa Italian Kitchen or with Michael, but that was all I could find in my research.

In Summary
With over 200 locations and having celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2014, the chain must be doing something right, but I can’t find it. There is no personality or story to their company; it merely screams fast food pizza chain. The customer reviews don’t speak a lot to the chain either with an average of 2.81/5 or 56%. Even their Facebook followers are only giving them 76%. As far as it relates to discounts, there is no appeal there either. Also one of the very few chains researched that has no mention of charity work or involvement. One of the most disappointing chains we’ve investigated thus far. If you were at a mall and craving pizza, I guess they could be an option. Otherwise, I’ll pass.
