Food Types

Restaurants can be broken down into not only multiple types of restaurants such as casual dining, fine dining etc, but also in the food types they prepare and serve. Although there are just a few different types of restaurants, there are endless foods they may focus on. This is true especially if you consider all the ethnic food choices out there. This site breaks all the food choices into 13 types –

  • American
  • Asian
  • Bakery
  • Barbecue
  • Chicken
  • Coffeehouse
  • Desserts (and more)
  • Family Style
  • Hamburgers
  • Italian and Pizza
  • Mexican
  • Sandwiches
  • Seafood

There are of course so many more food types than that and hopefully, as our restaurant database grows so will our different food types. Keep checking back for any additional food groups you may be looking for.
